Rosie the Riveter/WWII Home Front National Historical Park Celebrates Its 25th Anniversary in 2025
Richmond, CA — January 6, 2025 — The Rosie the Riveter Trust and Rosie the Riveter/WWII Home Front National Historical Park are thrilled to announce the celebration of the Park’s 25th anniversary this year. This milestone marks a quarter-century of preserving and sharing the powerful stories of the American Home Front during World War II. The 25th Anniversary theme, “The Rosie Spirit: Continuing to Answer the Call.” highlights the achievements of citizens who shaped our nation’s history during this pivotal era and serves as a call to action for Americans today.
Since its establishment in 2000, the Park has been a beacon of education, inspiration, and community engagement, highlighting the spirit of resilience, innovation, and unity that defined the Home Front experience. Visitors from around the world have explored its exhibits, attended programs, and walked in the footsteps of the millions of women – "Rosies" – whose groundbreaking efforts in wartime industries reshaped the American workforce and laid the groundwork for the modern fight for gender equality.
