Volunteer Week is EVERY Week with Rosie's Service Corps!

Rosie's Service Corps

Rosie’s Service Corps is a program of Rosie the Riveter Trust working in partnership with the Rosie the Riveter/WWII Home Front National Historical Park. It embraces the values of Service, Connection and Power while instilling youth with Rosie’s, “We Can Do It” attitude! Learning includes STEAM education, employable trade skills, core confidence, and team building.

Leo Cuevas, our Program and Community Engagement Manager, has really taken this program to the next level expanding program to include year-round, after-school, and summer hands-on activities, community service projects, and career mentoring.

This National Volunteer Week, Rosie's Service Corps has stayed busy with several projects including volunteering with Habitat for Humanity, restoring the basketball court at Parchester Village, and participating in community clean ups.

We hope that each student that comes through this program continues to have "Pride and Purpose" in the history of Richmond and knows that they can do ANYTHING they set their minds to.
