At Rosie the Riveter Trust and Rosie the Riveter / WWII Home Front National Historical Park, we try to tell as many home front stories as we can.

Drop in this month to catch one of MANY offerings highlighting experiences that aren't considered so "rosie".

Filipinos on the WWII Home Front

May 11th and May 25th at 2:30 pm

Join Jim Davis for a new and intriguing presentation, revealing the Filipino experience on the home front during WWII!

This program was very well received and is now entering the monthly rotation on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays at 2:30pm! 

Blossoms and Thorns

May 12th, 19th, 20th, and 26th at 2:00 pm

Join Flora Ninomiya or James Oshima for a screening of Blossoms and Thorns with a special presentation and Q&A to follow. Jim andFlora tell their family's stories of incarceration during WWII - Flora having spent her first three years of life inside of a camp. 

This program is vital at the Visitor Center and can be caught every Friday as well as the third Saturday of the month at 2pm.

A Bitter Legacy

May 20th at 12 pm

A one-of-a-kind offering to join filmmaker Claudia Katayanagi for a special screening of her documentary, "A Bitter Legacy". A panel discussion and Q&A are to follow where you can ask anything about the process of making the film and Claudia's family experience.
