Rosie the Riveter Open Water SwimThe swim takes place where 747 Liberty Ships were built and launched during WWII. Six million women were among the workers who made the ships and planes, jeeps and other war needs across the country during this time. Women proved to the world that they could do anything! 


Event Details 

Location: Barbara and Jay Vincent Park, Richmond Marina 

Time: 11:00 AM – 2:30pm 

Swim starts at Noon! 

Potluck Lunch after - bring a dish to share! 


Each registered swim participant will receive a custom t-shirt, swim cap, and an iconic Rosie bandana! 


Whether you’re a seasoned open-water swimmer or trying it for the first time, this community swim promises a fun and supportive environment for all participants.
